Merch Madness: Children’s Clothing and the Dark Arts

by Mary Wojcicki · August 14, 2020

It’s time for another edition of Merch Madness, your guide to some of the latest and greatest Wizarding World merchandise Galleons (or your equivalent Muggle currency) can buy!

Mugs from Monogram International

We love that there are items for everyone and everything, and what better way to enjoy a beverage than with a Harry Potter–themed mug from Monogram International? As mentioned by the Pop Insider, the drinkware is available from multiple outlets.

Entertainment Earth has plenty of the Monogram International mugs on its website, and we really love this Harry Potter Mug with Spoon, which is currently available for preorder for just $8.99. The mug features a chibi design of many of the characters and objects from the Harry Potter series on a black background, and its handle contains a slot for the accompanying brown spoon. The Harry Potter Mug with Spoon will be available sometime this month, according to the Entertainment Earth website.

Loot Crate Wizarding World Wear Crate: The Dark Arts

The Wizarding World Wear October subscription box from Loot Crate‘s Loot Wear is themed after the Dark Arts! (Note that this crate isn’t the same as Loot Crate’s Wizarding World Crate.) The subscription starts at $19.99, including shipping.

Included in this box is a Loot Crate exclusive Dark Arts Reverse-print T-shirt featuring the Dark Mark symbol of the Death Eaters and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. To keep all of your books on the Dark Arts with you, a Death Eater Collapsible Tote will also be included.

Harry Potter x H&M Collection

Looking for some new clothes for the children in your life? You’ll definitely want to check out the new Harry Potter x H&M collection!

Bring some magic to their wardrobe with an enchanting collection of preppy pieces and Harry Potter–inspired prints.

The collection features all sorts of great pieces – from bodysuits for infants to tees and hoodies for older kids. We love this dark green embroidered-detail hoodie for cooler weather! It’s available for $29.99.

New Merchandise from Universal Orlando Resort

As a bonus, there’s new theme park merchandise too! According to WDW News Today, there are two new items that have been added to the Hogwarts Alumni collection of merchandise. One is a phone case made for the iPhones 6, 7, 8, 11, and XR, and the other is a photo frame. WDW News Today has photos of both items, which are currently not displayed on the official Universal Orlando Resort online store. WDW News Today reports that the items are available at Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods, which is in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

That’s it for this edition of Merch Madness, but stay tuned for even more great merchandise news! Which items are your favorites?
