“Fantastic Beasts” and Other Movies to Continue Filming in September

We have some long-awaited good news for movie fans! It’s been announced that a few movies are resuming filming after months of hiatus.

The third chapter of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them saga is scheduled to start filming again. (Yay!) Cast and crew members are rumored to begin making their way back to the set in the first couple of weeks of September. This film’s production will be taking place throughout the United Kingdom. The cast will also make its way to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for a new adventure. The full plot hasn’t been revealed, although Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) hinted earlier this year that the plot would be a climb to a dramatic war as the story follows the unsettled relationship between Dumbledore and Grindelwald. 

The release date for Fantastic Beasts 3 is still set for November 2021. Seeing as the date has remained the same for some time, we have high hopes that the rest of the production will go off without a hitch. 

Colin Farrell (Percival Graves), Zoë Kravitz (Leta Lestrange), and Robert Pattinson’s (Cedric Diggory) The Batman will continue in early September in the United Kingdom. Crews have been busy with set design and creation all through August. Sources are also suggesting that the film will be finished by the end of 2020. However, these are strange times, and sticking to a tight schedule has not been one of this year’s strong points. The Batman was originally scheduled for theatrical release in June 2021. However, given all the time taken away from filming, it’s been pushed to October 1, 2021. Better late than never!

Talk about spooky!

Warner Bros. has yet to come forward with any official word about either The Batman or the Fantastic Beasts movies. The spokesperson for the company declined to comment when asked about the subject, according to Variety. 

After months of safety planning and hiatus, fans are excited and hopeful that production for both these movies has seen that last of its delays and that the films will be in movie theaters next year.
