Project D Offers Platform 9 and 4 Quarters Box of “Harry Potter” Doughnuts

by Brittany Bennett · October 22, 2020

Food delivery services have been in huge demand since the pandemic has hit, and Project D in the United Kingdom is no exception. This handmade doughnut bakery is on a mission to create the world’s best doughnut, and it’s offering delivery on specially made Harry Potter-inspired treats for the month of October.

This box of four doughnuts being dubbed as the Platform 9 and 4 Quarters box has proven to be Project D’s best-selling collection of all time. The doughnuts in this box are the Cornelius Fudge, the Gryffindoreo, the Golden Snitch, and the Bellatwix Lestrange. Project D’s Instagram shows off these doughnuts and its other one-of-a-kind creations. Co-owner Jacob Watts was pleasantly surprised by the number of orders flying in for these boxes.

But whether you’re a [M]uggle or a magician, it seems that everyone loves Harry Potter, and we’ve never had so many pre-orders for one range before. They are quite intricate designs, which take a bit of time to make, but I guarantee they’re even better than Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans. So if you’re still waiting for your letter from Hogwarts, we suggest you obliviate your woes with some of our doughnuts – they’re magic.

These doughnuts look tastier than a warm butterbeer in winter. The Cornelius Fudge is a toffee fudge-based doughnut topped with additional fudge. The Gryffindoreo is topped with Gryffindor House colors and an Oreo cookie. The Golden Snitch doughnut has a vanilla base and is topped with a Ferrero Rocher for the Snitch body with raspberry and vanilla wings. The Bellatwix Lestrange has a milk and white chocolate marble base and a double chocolate Twix on the top.

Talking about the deliciousness is making our mouths water. If you want to get your hands on some of these magical sugary confections, you better act now. The Platform 9 and 4 Quarters box is only available until the end of October. You can view the menu and delivery options on the Project D website. To our fans in the UK, will you be getting a box of these delicious doughnuts? Let us know and show off the magic.
