New Zealand Mint Launches Classic Lord Voldemort Gold and Silver Coins
New Zealand Mint is back with yet another collectible Harry Potter coin that you won’t want to miss! After the release of its new Sirius Black chibi coin, there are now Lord Voldemort gold and silver coins.
This new coin is different from the previous Voldemort coin released by New Zealand Mint; this one is part of its Classic collection, rather than the Chibi collection. The Lord Voldemort coins come in three different varieties: the Lord Voldemort ¼oz Gold Coin, the Lord Voldemort 1oz Gold Coin, and the Lord Voldemort 1oz Silver Coin.
All these coins – featuring Ralph Fiennes as Lord Voldemort during the Battle of Hogwarts – will cost you a pretty penny. The silver coin is the least expensive, at $99.00 (USD), with a mintage of 5,000 coins. The 1/4 oz. gold coin is $800.00 (USD), with a mintage of 500 coins. The 1 oz. gold coin is $2,900.00 (USD), with a mintage of just 250 coins.
