Fancy Opening Your Very Own Wizarding Shop? Brighton’s Popular Wizard Shop Up for Sale

by Georgia Murgatroyd · October 31, 2021

Oliver’s Brighton is a highly popular Harry Potter-themed store in Brighton, United Kingdom, and it has recently gone up for sale. So if you are looking for a wizard shop of your own, then look no further. The shop sells all things Potter-related and looks very similar to Ollivander’s own wand shop.

The shop, located just next to Brighton train station, has won 11 awards from travel companies and has over 2,000 five-star reviews. It is a popular tourist shop where you have to book to be able to visit. Booking can be completed through the website.

Oliver’s Brighton offers a magical experience for customers who visit, selling all sorts of wizarding world products such as character wands, snacks, butterbeer, and official Harry Potter merchandise. The current owner, Oliver Dall, would love to sell the established business to a fellow Harry Potter lover who is just as passionate about the shop as he is.

Neil Young, business valuer at Hilton Smythe, stated the company expects “competition for this sale to be as fierce as the Triwizard Tournament.” If you are interested in any further information about buying the shop, you can view the listing on the Hilton Smythe website. It is for sale for £120,000.

How cool would it be to have your own Harry Potter-themed shop?

Potter History

December 4, 2008 – The Tales of Beedle the Bard is released in the United States and the United Kingdom. To the dismay of some Harry Potter fans, many bookstores did not hold midnight release parties as they did for other books in the Harry Potter series.

Potter Quote

“The Elder Wand cannot serve me properly, Severus, because I am not its true master. The Elder Wand belongs to the wizard who killed its last owner. You killed Albus Dumbledore. While you live, Severus, the Elder Wand cannot be truly mine.”
