New Cast Announced for London’s “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”

A brand-new cast has been revealed for London’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, becoming the West End show’s seventh cast since it premiered in 2016.

With a total of 47 members in the company, the new cast members will have their first performance on October 17, just over a year after last year’s cast performed its first show on October 13, 2022.

David Ricardo-Pearce has joined as the boy who lived, Harry Potter; Polly Frame is playing his wife, Ginny; and Ellis Rae takes the role of Albus Potter. Continuing his stint as Ron Weasley is Thomas Aldridge, who is joined by Jade Ogugua as Hermione Granger and Taneetrah Porter as Rose Granger-Weasley. Finally, the Malfoys are being played by Steve John Shepherd (Draco Malfoy) and Harry Acklowe (Scorpius Malfoy).

Completing the company are Ishmail Aaron, David Annen, Nairn Archer, Darrell Brockis, Sabina Cameron, Robert Curtis, Toby De Salis, Odelia Dizel-Cubuca, Rory Fraser, Jemma Geanaus, Harry Goodson-Bevan, Jemma Gould, Kelton Hoyland, David Ijiti, Chris Jarman, Sally Jayne Hind, Emma Louise Jones, Kathryn Meisle, Ian Redford, Abigail Rosser, Clancy Ryan, Tonny Shim, Adam Slynn, Sara Stewart, Benjamin Stratton, Maia Tamrakar, Alex Tomkins, Jake Tuesley, Sam Varley, Jess Vickers, Wreh-asha Walton, and Katie Wimpenny. Tickets are available to book online, both for performances featuring the current cast (with their final performance on October 8) and for the shows featuring the new cast from October 17, with tickets available to book through May 19, 2024.
