New Cast Announced for Broadway Company of “Cursed Child”
If the enchantment of augmented reality showbill covers wasn’t enough, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Broadway has even more magical new additions in store. Sonia Friedman Productions, Colin Callender, and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions, the producers of the award-winning play, recently announced the cast of the new company.
There are quite a few talented performers to welcome to the Lyric Theatre this year. Joining the cast are Matthew James Thomas, who will play Harry Potter, and Sarah Killough as Ginny Potter. Alex Serino will take on the role of their son, Albus. Rachel Christopher will start as Hermione Granger and Ayanna Nicole Thomas as Rose Granger-Weasley. Daniel Fredrick will continue as Ron Weasley. Kristen Martin is joining as Delphi Diggory, while the Malfoys remain consistent, with Aaron Bartz and Erik Christopher Peterson reprising the roles of Draco Malfoy and his son, Scorpius, respectively.

Completing the new cast are Megan Byrne, Maxim Chlumecky, James Cribbins, Janae Hammond, Sophie Hearn, Zachary Lindberg, Jay Mack, Bradley Patchett, Dan Plehal, Allie Re, Isaac Phaman Reynolds, Khadija Tariyan, Julius Williams, and Riley Thad Young. They will be performing alongside returning cast members Chadd Alexander, John Alix, Ted Deasy, Kira Fath, Gary-Kayi Fletcher, Eleasha Gamble, Logan James Hall, Abbi Hawk, Chance Marshaun Hill, Alexandra Peter, Kira Player, Gabrielle Reid, Stephen Spinella, and Tom Stephens.
You can see the new cast in action starting Tuesday, November 12. Tickets are on sale for performances through May 25, 2025.
