Warner Bros. Studio Tour London Announces “An Audience with the Filmmakers” Events

Throughout August, Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter in London will be hosting several exciting evenings. Every Friday, the Tour will stay open later to host An Audience with the Filmmakers, a Q&A event and panel discussion with different members of the Harry Potter film crew.

Each evening will be hosted in the Great Hall by Martin Bayfield, who acted as Hagrid’s body double in the films. On August 1, he’ll be joined by choreographer Paul Harris. Head prop-maker Pierre Bohanna will join Bayfield on August 8, while art director Gary Tomkins will speak at the event on August 15. Two guests will speak on August 22, with costume designer Laurent Guinci and chief hairdresser Lisa Tomblin teaming up for an evening together. The events will wrap up on August 29 with special effects supervisor John Richardson.

As per the suggested itinerary for the events, the experience will last the entire evening. Ticket holders will arrive at 7:30 pm for a grazing-style dinner. The filmmaker discussion will begin at 8:30 pm and last 45 minutes, before the floor will be opened for a Q&A session. Once the filmmaker audience has finished, visitors will be able to enjoy a cocktail or a mocktail while exploring the tour after hours.

Tickets for the events are on sale now. Tickets come in three tiers, organised by closeness to the stage for the audience. Bronze tickets are furthest away from the stage, while the Silver package includes seating in the middle of the Great Hall. The Gold package includes a special photo opportunity with the host and special guest after the Q&A session, as well as a seat right at the front. All packages also include a souvenir guidebook, signed by the host and guest, and a confectionary treat, specially selected by the guest of the evening.

These evenings aren’t the only events running through August at the Studio Tour in London. The Triwizard Tournament feature that kicked off in May will still be in full effect. Visitors will also be able to catch a new range of costumes and insight into the creation of the dragons used in the film, amongst other Triward-themed displays.

Will you be visiting the Studio Tour for any of the events this summer?
