Exhibition Roundup: “Harry Potter” Attractions Hitting Chicago, Dallas, Brisbane, Mexico City, Milan, and Abu Dhabi

Are any of these touring exhibitions heading to a city near you? Or perhaps you’ll be visiting London this fall or winter to check out one of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour’s special events…

Harry Potter: The Exhibition

As far as we know, there are four touring versions of Harry Potter: The Exhibition worldwide, and believe it or not, all four are open right now!

As previously reported, the exhibition is currently open in Melbourne, Australia; Krakow, Poland; and Salt Lake City, Utah, US. Krakow’s exhibition is closing its doors this month. However, Melbourne’s dates have been extended at least twice, with tickets now available through October 6. Salt Lake City has tickets available through September 21, with further extensions unlikely.

Meanwhile, the exhibition recently made its Middle Eastern debut. Originally planned to open on July 25, the exhibit in Abu Dhabi, UAE, shifted its opening date to July 31 to align with Harry Potter’s birthday. The venue is Manarat Al Saadiyat, and tickets are currently available through September 21.

Two more upcoming locations are also on the schedule. The European version of the exhibition will open in Milan, Italy, on September 19. This is a return to the city for Harry Potter: The Exhibition, with the old version having visited Milan in 2018. This time, it will be hosted at the Mall – Piazza Lina Bo Bardi, with tickets currently available through January 6, 2026.

And the North American version of the exhibition will shift to Dallas, Texas, US, opening on October 24 at the Pepper Square Shopping Center. Tickets go on sale on September 10.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience

This magical, forested walk-through experience isn’t slowing down either. At Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience, you can see hippogriffs, unicorns, Nifflers, and more magical creatures; cast spells like a Patronus; and indulge in some butterbeer.

Following the exhibition’s success in Melbourne last year, it is now open in Brisbane, Australia, at the Sirromet Winery in Mount Cotton. Tickets are currently available through September 7.

The exhibition is also heading to the Chicago area in the fall, opening on October 3 at YMCA Camp Duncan in Ingleside, Illinois, US. Tickets are currently available through November 2.

Harry Potter: Visions of Magic

Visions of Magic opened in Singapore last November, and impressively, it’s still going strong. Tickets are currently available through September 30, meaning it will have been open for at least 10 months.

And earlier this summer, Harry Potter: Visions of Magic made its North American debut in Mexico City, Mexico, at Gran Carpa Santa Fe. Tickets are currently available through October 26.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London

Once again, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is preparing for the fall and winter seasons. The Dark Arts event, featuring Death Eaters, Dementors, and floating pumpkins, will take place from September 12 to November 9, 2025.

And the Studio Tour will be plunged into darkness for the special Nox after-hours events on October 29, 30, and 31. This is open to ages 16 and up only.

Hogwarts in the Snow, which features the various sets covered in snow and Christmas decorations, is taking place from November 15, 2025, to January 18, 2026. Confusingly, the website describes the Great Hall as being both dressed for the Yule Ball and decorated as it was in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Since the Studio Tour is currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, it seems likely the Yule Ball decorations are returning this year. They were previously used for Hogwarts in the Snow before being replaced by the Sorcerer’s Stone decorations in 2020.

Finally, Dinner in the Great Hall, where visitors get to experience the iconic Hogwarts Christmas feast, is scheduled for December 8, 9, and 10 for guests 18 and over. Family Dinner in the Great Hall, open to families with children aged between 12 and 17, will be on December 5.
