Hogwarts Is Filling Up: HBO’s Harry Potter Series Adds Oliver Wood, Lee Jordan, Pansy Parkinson, and More
The Sorting Hat (or rather the casting team) has been hard at work! HBO has revealed a new batch of Hogwarts student casting for the upcoming Harry Potter series, including some very familiar names for Quidditch fans and several students who’ll help bring Harry’s year to life.

Gryffindor
Gryffindor’s Quidditch corner is officially taking shape:
- Orson Matthews as Oliver Wood (Gryffindor Quidditch captain)
- Asha Soetan as Angelina Johnson
- Eire Farrell as Katie Bell
- Serrana Su-Ling Bliss as Alicia Spinnet
- Ethan Smith as Lee Jordan
Hufflepuff
The House of the Badger is filling up with some key names from Harry’s era:
- India Moon as Hannah Abbott
- James Trevelyan Buckle as Justin Finch-Fletchley
- Cian Eagle-Service as Ernie MacMillan

Ravenclaw
Ravenclaw’s roster includes both recognizable names and some deep-cuts that suggest the series is truly leaning into the source material:
