Social Roundup: terrible trolls, perfect pups and one wicked wasp

by Kevin Assam · May 31, 2015

This week demonstrated the Potter cast’s uncanny resemblances to several non-enchanted creatures and their solidarity in taking a stand against our least favorite internet inhabitants.

Let’s start things off with the latest “do-gooder” to enter the spotlight, Evanna Lynch. Not only is she an advocate for the global push to increase youths’ political involvement…

…and a cat linguist purist.

But perhaps most importantly, she’s devising a non-magical method to banish trolls. Pretty handy for anyone short of a few dungbombs.

Harry Potter fans and human beings alike – this is essential reading: https://t.co/twrmdu9NEX @Evy_Lynch

You’ve been warned! And since we’ve dealt with the trolls, let’s take a look at the complete opposite end of that visual spectrum where there was the appearance of some dashing pups…

…a soul-sucking wasp (still beautiful in a look-but-don’t-touch way)…

Cuddly creatures aside, Jessie Cave is preparing for the debut of her “Love Sick”.

So in keeping with the title, she naturally provided some useful relationship subtext.

Potter Quote

“I suggest you both go up to Madam Pomfrey. She is already tending to Miss Fawcett, of Ravenclaw, and Mr. Summers, of Hufflepuff, both of whom decided to age themselves up a little too. Though I must say, neither of their beards is anything like as fine as yours.”
