Dame Maggie Smith was awarded the Theatre Icon Award at the 2013 Evening Standard Theatre Awards last week. The Evening Standard has been honoring outstanding achievements in London theater since 1955, and Maggie is only the latest in a line of distinguished recipients for the award.

Even though the tickets to Universal Orlando’s “A Celebration of Harry Potter” sold out within minutes, until now fans have had only a vague idea of what to expect when they arrive at the park in January. Last week we let you know that J.K. Rowling had been named Inspiration of the Year by Harper’s Bazaar, and in their latest issue, Rowling herself pens a very poignant article about her work with Lumos and reveals the story behind an upcoming December 10 auction where a bracelet that Rowling helped to design will be auctioned off to benefit the charity.
Yesterday we revealed the first image from the upcoming Harry Potter USPS stamp set, and now five more images have been released via The Today Show!
Some intriguing tidbits about the new stamp were also released, including the fact that there will be five million booklets of stamps produced and that the stamps should be available for pre-sale TODAY at the official USPS site.
It’s been over a year since we posted about Bonnie Wright’s directorial debut Separate We Come, Separate We Go, but now the film is finally able to be viewed online.
