In this week’s Pottermore Feature of the Week, we take a look at the information provided by J.K. Rowling relating to The Mirror of Erised. Certainly, one of the most magical moments in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer”s Stone” (“Philosopher’s Stone” in the UK) involves the moment that Harry discovers this magical mirror and sees what his true heart’s desire is – a chance to see his family, especially his mother and father.

Yesterday, the 2012 Summer Games tournament was held at Cutteslowe Park in Oxford, UK with five national teams competing for the championship. USA, UK, France, Australia, and Canada were all playing the game of Quidditch at a fast and furious pace. The USA team rolled through the tournament and eventually took the championship, as it defeated France in the final match 160-00.

The 2012 Muggle Quidditch Games are officially underway at Cutteslowe Park in Oxford, UK. Five teams are competing in a Round Robin Tournament with national pride on the line, as well as the chance to play the host UK team in a highly publicized exhibition match tomorrow. The exhibition match will occur on Monday at 3:30 p.m. BST in front of thousands of spectators just before the Olympic Torch Festival at South Park.
