This fine dessert was purchased on the Hogwarts Express by Cho Chang as Harry Potter watches on. (Well, in the movie, anyway.)

Instructions
  1. Bake the pie filling ONLY in a large dish at 350F for 1 hour. It is done when a knife inserted in the center of the dish comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
  2. Make (or purchase) pie crust pastry. Roll thin and cut into circles approximately 4 inches in diameter. (I used a coffee mug for this.)
  3. Put a spoonful of the cool pumpkin mixture toward one side of the center of the circle.
  4. Fold over the crust and crimp the edges closed.
  5. Slice three small slits in the top for venting. Brush with melted butter. If desired, you can sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  6. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake only until crust is a light golden brown.
  7. Serve at room temperature. Enjoy!
