This past weekend, MuggleNet hit a milestone on Twitter as we made our 10,000th tweet. To celebrate this accomplishment of bringing you the latest news, contest, updates, and more in the world of Potter, we decided to hold a #MN10K contest.
The Pottermore Insider has recently released a new interview with a member of their creative team detailing the experience of working on the final installment of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which is due to be released on Pottermore in “a few weeks’ time”. In the interview, the team member talks about the struggle to create Red Caps and how the creative team strives to make each moment as accurate to the Harry Potter canon as possible.
The Telegraph has just reported that both Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm will return for a second series of A Young Doctor’s Notebook & Other Stories. The series is inspired by the semi-autobiographical writings of Mikhail Bulgakov, a Russian writer and playwright.
Since the last Potter book came out six years ago, MuggleNet has come to evolve into a fan driven website. We, as a staff, are always trying to come up with new, fun ways to keep the fandom alive. Many of those great ideas came from Noah Fried, our very own Harry Potter look-alike.
Here is the next daily progress report on the status of the MuggleNet Ordinary Wizarding Level examinations that are taking place in the Great Hall. If you haven’t started your exams yet, head over to the Great Hall to register and receive your candidate number in order to begin taking your MuggleNet O.W.L. exams. The exams will be available through Sunday, July 28.

According to the Daily Mail, Katie Leung considered quitting acting after she played Cho Chang. She was not confident in her acting skills, so after an extended break, she enrolled in formal acting classes. In 2012, Leung starred in the stage drama Wild Swans, her first major role since Harry Potter.
