LeakyCon announces confirmed guests to both Portland and London conventions this summer
In a recent barage of tweets and announcements, we are pleased to echo the excitement of LeakyCon staff as they have just announced the guests that are confirmed to date for the LeakyCon Portland convention taking place June 27 to 30 at the American Pacific Northwest, and LeakyCon London, which takes place August 8 to 11 at the Grand Connaught Rooms.

Matthew Lewis supports UK charity event Walk of Smiles
Matthew Lewis, as a patron of the Bethany Hare Smile Foundation, will provide signed certificates to participants in the charity’s fundraising event Walk of Smiles on June 1. The Smile Foundation raises money for children with terminal or chronic illnesses, and was founded by 13-year-old Bethany Hare.
“Harry Potter” broom to be exhibited at Leicester museum
A broom used during the filming of Harry Potter will be exhibited at the New Walk Museum and Art Gallery beginning May 4 as a part of the “Magic Worlds” exhibit. There is no word yet on whether the broom displayed will be Harry’s Nimbus 2000 or his Firebolt, but the broom is being touted as the exhibit’s main attraction.
