HBO Shuts Down Narrator Rumor for Upcoming ‘Harry Potter’ Series
A new rumor about HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series can officially be put to rest. Deadline reports that despite online chatter and speculation in British media and social platforms, the series will not include a narrator.
The rumors spread like fiendfyre across Instagram and Reddit over the past week, and appears to have started on a fan blog, which suggested actor Tom Turner (Beauty and the Beast) had been cast as a voiceover guide for the show. HBO sources confirmed to Deadline that no narrator role exists in the production.
