Among a bevy of teen idols, Oscar nominees, favorite television shows, and critically acclaimed films, Emma Watson has nabbed two nominations in the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. Her first nomination, announced in May on the TCA website, was for her role as Sam in the film The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Emma Watson has been nominated in three categories at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, and now MTV plans to honor her in a bigger way. During the Awards, Emma will be presented with their second annual Trailblazer Award honoring the best young actors who create their own unique route in the film industry.
As reported yesterday, Daniel Radcliffe was honored with the Empire Hero award at last night’s Jameson Empire Film Awards ceremony and they have now released his very humbling acceptance speech.
Daniel Radcliffe was presented with the Empire Hero gong at this evening’s Empire Film Awards for being, in the words of the magazine itself, ‘generally pretty ace.’ To present the award was Woman in Black director, James Watkins, who commented that Daniel’s “desire to take risks is why I cast him.”
The nominations list for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards was released, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower starring Potter star Emma Watson was nominated in four categories.
As part of the opening of the 2013 Academy Awards, Daniel Radcliffe along with actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and host Seth MacFarlane did a song and dance performance. You can watch the video here! Daniel appears starting at the 6:40 mark.
According to an article on Broadway.com, Daniel Radcliffe will be making an appearance at the 85th Academy Awards on February 24, 2013. The theme for the Oscar Award show is “Music in Movies.”
