Fan Art of the Week: “The Elder Wand”

This week’s submission comes from Nicole, and it’s an artistic rendering of “The Elder Wand” created with acrylic paints on canvas. You can see the full size image of this piece by clicking on the thumbnail below. 

Noah’s Notes: There’s something simple but brilliant about the way this piece was painted. The wand looks a little quirky and uneven at points – but that was very well done, for the wand looks all the more real and mystical. The cool blue background also adds to this general feeling of magic that pervades the piece. I’m not sure if it’s the colors, or the subtle symmetry, (or both), but the whole painting is just incredibly soothing to look at. Great job Nicole!
