Interview with Jason Isaacs about “Rosemary’s Baby”

The four-hour mini-series Rosemary’s Baby, starring Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), started in America on NBC on May 11. During this small interview, Isaacs discusses his character Roman Castevet, the mysterious neighbor, and what his intentions have been so far on the show.

When asked how the mini-series differs from the book it’s adapted from and the 1968 movie starring Mia Farrow, Isaacs says,

The film in many ways is a paranoia thriller; in fact, it could be that the whole thing takes place inside Rosemary’s brain, inside Mia Farrow’s head. Whereas with our story, it’s a much more straight-out roller-coaster horror… mini-series, and there’s no question these bad things are going on because you see them in full gory fashion.
