Daniel Radcliffe “sorts” celebrities and talks about “What If”

In a recent interview with BuzzFeed Brews, Daniel Radcliffe discussed his new movie What If, which then led to the topic of “friend zones.” When talking about what he thought about the idea, Daniel stated,

Friendzoning is a terrible thing. The idea of a friend zone is like a terrible, male…have you ever heard a girl say she’s in the friend zone? It’s a thing I think men need to be really careful about using. When they were kicking around titles for What If, before What If was chosen, I think that came up, and I was like, ‘No! Don’t do that!’

During the interview, Radcliffe also participated in a hilarious game of sorting celebrities into Hogwarts houses. Some famous names to come out of the Sorting Hat were Meryl Streep – Gryffindor (“because she’s awesome, and awesome people go to Gryffindor”), the Queen – Ravenclaw (“There’s something very regal about ravens, I think.”), Benedict Cumberbatch – Ravenclaw (“He is somebody I associate with great intellect.”), and Kanye West – Slytherin (“I think he’d kinda be happy with that, though.”). In other news, an article about Radcliffe’s interview with BuzzFeed was included in today’s issue of UK newspaper Metro. It talks of whom is he is now rooting for in the World Cup and a superhero sidekick that he would love to play.

In the same newspaper, there was also a small article about Tom Felton. When talking about his fans, Tom says,

I’ve had a couple of proposals from people who want to adopt me. A few requests to change my name legally to Malfoy. Gifts of homemade potions and spells. I have to admire the level of dedication.
