by Sophie Reid · September 6, 2015

It’s September, and what does that mean in the wizarding world? Time to pack those bags and head to Platform 9 3/4 – it’s time to return to Hogwarts for the new school year!

J.K. Rowling revealed that James Sirius Potter was off to Hogwarts…

I’m in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King’s Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He’s starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) September 1, 2015

… and he was wished well by his cousin.

@MuggleNet Bye Bye Cuz

Jo’s request was quickly followed by a worry.

Now worried that he’ll be irritated by the number of people saying hi. https://t.co/6keaEOsKS0 — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) September 1, 2015

Plus, Jo revealed some exciting news about a certain Teddy Lupin.

Have just heard that James S Potter has been Sorted (to nobody’s surprise) into Gryffindor. Teddy Lupin (Head Boy, Hufflepuff) disappointed.

Oh, and of course the food isn’t bad at Hogwarts.

The food is great here https://t.co/EwOiyzied3

Oliver Phelps was back to Hogwarts in a more unusual way…

Turns out the Hogwarts express is having a year off today. Today’s mode of transport…. #backtohogwarts pic.twitter.com/aVRRWOJe5o

Meanwhile, in the Muggle world, there were sports matches to watch…

Scotland 16 France 12. Why aren’t I in Paris? (A question I ask myself often, even when there’s no rugby happening). #AsOne — J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) September 5, 2015

No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No. Why do I even watch this game?
