Robbie Coltrane Scores Fifth BAFTA TV Award Nomination

Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid) has received his fifth BAFTA TV Award nomination for his role in Channel 4’s mini-series National Treasure. The Scottish actor, who has won a BAFTA Award on three previous occasions for his work on Cracker, is up for the Leading Actor category. National Treasure, which also starred Julie Walters (Molly Weasley), scored a second nomination in the Best Mini-Series category.

Meanwhile, Happy Valley, which starred Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Shirley Henderson (Moaning Myrtle), and Keeley Forsyth (Terri Weedon in The Casual Vacancy), is up for Best Drama Series, Leading Actress (Sarah Lancashire), and Best Supporting Actress (Siobhan Finneran.)

Game of Thrones, which will soon welcome Jim Broadbent (Professor Horace Slughorn) to its cast and has already featured several Potter alumni, including David Bradley (Argus Filch), Michelle Fairley (Mrs. Granger), and Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks), is up for the Virgin’s Must See Moment Award for the “Battle of the Bastards” episode.
