First off, how did you become a Harry Potter fan?

I started late. The first movie I watched was Goblet of Fire. I was hooked the minute I left the movie cinemas. I went directly to the store and purchased all of the movies up to date and watched them all. Then I went and purchased all of the books. I became addicted really fast. I found that I didn’t have time to read them as much as I wanted so I paid to get the audiobooks. I prefer Jim Dale’s version but Stephens a very nice reader as well. Then I loaded them on my iPod and listened at work. I spent countless hours listening to these stories seeking out the little hidden secrets JKR left for us to find.

Welcome back, OWL student! You get to choose your classes this year, and you know for sure that you want to take…

Any class that Professor Snape was teaching. The man just had an extreme understanding of magic. The right side as Dumbledore and the Dark side.

Professor Slughorn is your new Potions instructor and you notice his appreciation of fame among the students and their connections. Do you think you would be invited to be a member of the Slug Club? Would you want to be? (Submitted by Lauren Watson)

I think that I would be picked in his class for sure. I have a great sense of humor and would be able to make many contacts in all formal and informal social situations. Slughorn would most surely invite me for the chance that he could extend his own personal contacts. Sure I think I would join the Club. It would be a great way to meet Quidditch stars and very high formal heads of the Ministry. There is no reason why anyone would refuse to get a jump start on their future.

If you won a tiny vial of Felix Felicis, what would you use it for?

I would use it to convince the United Nations (muggle union) to create more water desalination plants across the globe. We have many nations around the world where fresh water is a pipe dream. I think I would do whatever it took to allow all humans to have fresh clean drinking water.

If you could look at memories to learn all about someone’s past and history, who would it be and why?

I would want to learn about Ben Franklin. I would love to see his ideas and goals. Or Nikola Tesla. Both are very brilliant men.

Harry is Quidditch Captain; Ron and Hermione are Prefects; James and Lily were Head Boy and Girl…What do you think you’d do? Would you be enough of a role model to be a Prefect? Are you sporty? C’mon, tell us! (Submitted by DaneH98)

I would be the Weasley twins. I would be searching out the hidden secrets of Hogwarts and living every minute as my last. If I were a Q Player I would be a Keeper. I would get in way too much trouble to be a prefect though.

A Horcrux conceals a part of a person’s soul so that it remains on Earth should their body be killed, but can only be made by murdering someone. Would you make one?

No. I have seen enough violence. If it meant going back and killing Adolf Hitler I wouldn’t do it. It wouldn’t be worth tearing my soul in two for that. He was a terrible man. However, he has been replaced by other equally terrible people. It wouldn’t be worth tearing my soul in two.

Do you have anything else you’d like to add? Maybe a theory you still believe to be true, a shout-out, praise for yours truly?

Yes, I do. I have a theory and I hope Jo runs with it. I believe that in Goblet of Fire Barty Crouch Jr made a Horcrux when killing his father. Something Harry wouldn’t be able to detect, Harry’s forehead only reacted to Lord Voldemort. Not Dark Magic as a whole. While Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ended with Harry living 18 years without his scar ever hurting again. A reborn Crouch Jr would be completely undetectable. Oh, I forgot to mention I think the Horcrux is mad Eye Moody’s blue magical eye. Something Harry did touch. Remember when Moody was saying that it hadn’t worked properly since BC Jr had it. There could be something to that story and I hope Jo or someone runs with that story.
