First off, how did you become a Harry Potter fan?

I didn’t become a Harry Potter fan when they first came out, in fact I hadn’t even heard of Harry Potter at that time, but my parents took me to see the Philosopher’s Stone when I was 7 years old and I fell in love with it and I wanted to see it again and again and again. My parents knew how much I loved this film, so they brought me books one to four and my love for the Harry Potter world has grown stronger and stronger and I am still fascinated with the stories now as much as I was when I first watched Philosopher’s Stone. Not so much now but from the first time I got the Harry Potter books I had not stopped reading them and I read nothing else but Harry Potter and I have lost count of how many times I have read each book.

Deathly Hallows Part Two comes out this month! How are you feeling, with the end of the movies so near?

I don’t know how to describe my feelings of the upcoming last film in the franchise. I don’t really feel sad that it is going to be the last film as I know that the Harry Potter world will never be forgotten. The main feeling is pure and utter excitement, I have grown up with Harry Potter for most of my life and although I have been excited about all of the other Harry Potter films, this one is at a completely different level, I have never been this excited for any other film before. July 15 is only two weeks away, but it feels like months.

Of all the things Dumbledore left the trio in his will, what would YOU prefer to get? The Sword of Gryffindor, the Deluminator or The Tales of Beedle the Bard? (Submitted by Liam McBey)

I think it will have to be the deluminator, I can’t really see the use of me having the other two as one would just be a good ornament (I can’t see myself cutting off any snakes heads or destroying any Horcruxes) and the other I probably wouldn’t read as they are children stories. For me the deluminator is very handy as especially for me, a very lazy person, I could just switch the lights on and off without the need of getting off my sofa when I’m watching TV and I could probably annoy my family by switching the lights on and off if I wanted to.

Much like Godric’s Hollow for Harry, where is the one place you’ve yet to visit that holds significance in your life?

God this is a difficult one, but for me it would probably be the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, it is nothing like Godric’s Hollow for Harry, but as I consider myself a huge Harry Potter fan walking through Hogsmeade, Hogwarts, etc would be something like a dream come true, it would be magical for me. But unfortunately as I live in the UK, going there will probably be long in the future.

You’ve just learned about the Deathly Hallows from Xenophilius Lovegood. Which do you wish you could possess?

No doubt about it, it would definitely be the invisibility cloak. It would just be so cool to be able to go wherever you wanted to and nobody know that your there, not to mention being able to put the frights on people who are unsuspecting. I could definitely get my own back on my dad who likes to make me jump when I’m coming out of my bedroom, that would be fun.

The locket Horcrux affects each wearer differently. Do you think it would affect you as much as it does Ron? If you were the one to kill it, what images and ideas might it first taunt you with? (Submitted by Lauren Watson)

I’d like to say it wouldn’t affect me as much as it affected Ron as I would hate the thought of walking out or constantly arguing with my best friends, but Ron didn’t seem to be that sort of person before he started wearing the Locket, so maybe it could affect me in the same way, but I think I have more self-control to be able to put up with the locket. If I were to be the one to destroy the locket it would taunt me in more or less the same way that the Boggart upset Mrs. Weasley in the Order of the Phoenix. The Horcrux would probably shout out to me that if I stabbed it, it would kill every single one of my closest family members and I don’t know if I would have the courage to destroy it.

What do you believe King’s Cross Station represents for Harry? (Submitted by Hannah89)

I think Kings Cross Station holds a lot of emotion for Harry. It is the place he goes to be transported to the place he loves, the place he feels most at home and I think Harry probably has a secret admiration for Kings Cross as he will never forget the times he had at Hogwarts both the good and the bad and I believe that’s why he thought he was in Kings Cross when he let Voldemort “Kill him” it’s the place that holds the most significance to him.

Do you have anything else you’d like to add? Maybe a theory you still believe to be true, a shout-out, praise for yours truly?

I don’t really have any theories, but I would really like to thank JK Rowling for writing the Harry Potter books and making my childhood that much more enjoyable.
