Fan Art of the Week: “Harry Potter Bedroom”

This week’s fan art submission comes from Amy who decided to build a Harry Potter themed bedroom for her two cousins. Though the room in itself is a piece of art, we found ourselves drawn to this particular portion of wall.

Noah’s Notes: Here we find Ron from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets making his usual pouting face. It’s extraordinary the amount of detail Amy conveys with just her use of color – Ron’s hair, for instance, looks natural due to the flowing strokes of her paintbrush. The flecks of yellow in his face really seems to capture his pallid complexion. It’s worth noting that underneath this picture there is actually a rack attached to the wall where wands can be hung up.
