The magical world of “Potter” comes to life: Omnioculars are now a reality
The Quidditch World Cup is coming to Randall’s Island in New York this November, and now you can watch the live action with your own pair of Omnioculars.
Sony has developed a new set of video binoculars called Vinoculars, which are capable of recording live action in either 2D or 3D modes, while recording the sound in stereo. Just as Harry and Ron watched the Quidditch World Cup through their pair of Omnioculars, you will be able to stop the live action, replay recorded action, or just view the action live magnified up to 20X.
The Vinoculars will not be cheap though, as the current price is 1800 GBP (approximately $2800. USD).
J.K. Rowling was truly a remarkable forward thinking writer when she designed Omnioculars in the wizarding world.
