Fandom videos spotlight: Halloween love and loss, AND pranks!

This week, as promised, we have two Halloween-themed fandom videos for you. The first reflects upon today, Halloween, being the day that James and Lily Potter lost their lives to Lord Voldemort. Shown mostly from Snape’s perspective, Harry survived and Snape was asked to shepherd his growth. The video is called “Love and Loss.”

In fact, many fans are taking to Twitter to mourn James and Lily’s demise. An excellent article from The International Business times today talks about some public reaction to this.

But let’s not forget that Halloween is also a time for jokes, pranks, and hijinks! Be wary of your sound when you click on this video, which shows a school boy dressed in a purple turban, disrupting his school assembly by running into it and screaming “Troll in the dungeon!” reminiscent of Professor Quirrell in the first film.

Thanks to Callie for the excellent, timely suggestion for today’s videos.  Try not to prank too hard this year, enjoy your Halloween, and we’ll see you next week!
