Team StarKid to attend Ascendio 2012

HPEF, the not-for-profit group who brought you Infinitus, Azkatraz, Portus, Prophecy, Lumos! and Nimbus are proud to announce that members of YouTube internet sensation-turned theater company-turned concert headliners “StarKid Potter” will be presenting at their upcoming Harry Potter convention in July of this year.

Ascendio is taking place on July 12-15, 2012 at the gorgeous Loews Portofino Bay Resort in Orlando, FL. The hotel is owned by Universal and is situated within walking (and water taxi) distance from Universal’s Islands of Adventure and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Several StarKid Events are Planned, including:

– The Lang Bros.’ Tell-All Panel. Q&A with Matt and Nick Lang, co-writers of A Very Potter Musical, its sequel, and Starship.
– How to go from YouTube to Hollywood. StarKid Potter’s agent, Pat Brady, discusses the transition from internet-based sensation to the real entertainment industry, and beyond.
– Potion Master’s Corner. Based on a series of videos starring StarKid’s Joe Moses where he, as Professor Snape from the Very Potter… productions, interviews VIPs and attendees live at Ascendio 2012.

These events are included in your regular Ascendio registration! In addition to those, there will be a video viewing of A Very Potter Musical with LIVE commentary from the cast, a Meet and Greet event, a panel presentation, and multiple autograph and photograph opportunities!
