Happy 25th Birthday Emerson Spartz!

Today marks a very special day in the MuggleNet community as Emerson Spartz, our founder and CEO of Spartz Media Inc., a conglomeration of websites specializing in new media and user-interactive web content, turns 25 years old.

At age 12, Emerson was always looking for an avenue to grow and mature during his free time while being homeschooled. His incredible drive to read everything he could get his hands on eventually led him to the Harry Potter series, which at the time was just in its infancy, and created a small little website called MuggleNet. With some strategic planning and learning how to maximize his new website’s exposure by trading banners with other websites, MuggleNet grew exponentially within the Harry Potter community.

In 2006, J.K. Rowling extended a personal invitation to Emerson in order to interview her in her house in Scotland. She even gave him this friendship cup as a gift. MuggleNet continued its rapid ascent in the fandom and became the world’s No. 1 Harry Potter fan site, which it still maintains to this day. Emerson continued his thirst for knowledge by attending Notre Dame University where he earned his degree in Management Consulting – a degree that has certainly served him well.

This past year was an extremely busy year for Emerson. While continuing to grow the Spartz Media company at a rapid pace by launching a new website nearly every month, he married the love of his life, Gaby, on September 3.

Outside of his marraige, Emerson will tell you that his proudest moment is being mocked on national television by Jimmy Kimmel.
