Video: Emma Watson tells difference between American and British boys on “The Ellen Show”

Earlier this week, Emma Watson appeared on The Ellen Show and shared some great personal stories about her career and encounters with various fans.

In one story, Emma was spotted by a fan who thought “she looked just like Emma” and talked to her without realizing it really was her. Emma also shared some stories from her experience at Brown University in the United States.

On what the difference is between English guys and American guys she stated, “English guys are very well put together and they dress really well and they are very well mannered, but they are also very restrained. Like usually in the whole courting situation, I’m used to being ignored for the first two months of the ritual, and then maybe they will acknowledge my presence and they will be a little mean to me. And then I arrive in America, and in one night at Brown and this guy is like, ‘I like you, you’re great, let’s go on a date.’ And so, I’m like, “I’m sorry, what just happened?” It was a huge culture shock for me, as they are very open and very straightforward.”
