“Harry Potter” stars kick off Christmas festivities this past weekend

UPDATE: Video of the festivities added, which includes a few bits from Ellie and Ryan.

As we reported last week, two of our MuggleNet friends, Ellie Darcey-Alden and Ryan Turner – who portrayed Young Lily Evans and Hugo Weasley in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 – were in Leighton Buzzard this past weekend for the town’s Christmas Festival 2012.

Ellie and Ryan, pictured above, kicked off the festivities of the weekend with an explosive start by officially lighting the town’s Christmas Lights, which were followed by a fireworks display.
