“Kill Your Darlings” premieres at Sundance Film Festival – first reviews released

Daniel Radcliffe’s latest film, Kill Your Darlings, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this week. The first reviews are starting to pour in, and it sounds like Daniel gave a winning performance!

MuggleNet has also collected a few of the first reviews here for you to peruse, but because many of these reviews contain explicit details, they are for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY.

A review from the Associated Press comments on the adult turn Radcliffe has taken in the new movie and notes that director John Krokidas admits that Radcliffe became his muse for the film.

Another review, this time from Hollywood.com, praises Radcliffes performance, calling him a star (as if we didn’t already know that!) and another at the Wrap mentions that the film received “warm applause” after its screening.

MuggleNet will be attending a screening of the film next week, and we will post our own review of the film soon afterward. Are you planning to see Kill Your Darlings? Be sure to let us know what you think of it!

I've been making magic at MuggleNet since 2012, when I first joined the staff as a News intern. I've never wavered from the declaration in my childhood journal, circa October 2000: "I LOVE Harry Potter! If I clean my room, my mom says she'll make me a dinner a wizard would love!" Proud Gryffindor; don't hate.
