LeakyCon “Potter” Press Junket Featuring Evanna Lynch and Chris Rankin

Among their busy timetables and fan activities, the Potter alumni present at LeakyCon last week participated in a press junket. Thanks to the fantastic people over at IT’S KINDA COOL, we can now share the full video with you all.

It was an incredibly well rounded panel with topics covering the actors thoughts on the fandom, the Robert Galbraith reveal and what keeps drawing them back to LeakyCon.

Evanna: “I think it’s unique..I’ve been to a lot of other conventions where, you sit there, you get paid well but it’s kinda like you sell your soul for the weekend […]At LeakyCon they do it in a way that is manageable. You get a chance to interact personally with the fans, you can go to some panels and there are other guests here. It’s not so hollow as other conventions.”

Robbie: “It’s really important but there is no barrier, literally and figuratively. We can go to panels with them, we ran a workshop […] in Chicago we had a great big onesie party…

Evanna: “It’s the spirit”

Robbie: “and that comes from the top down with Mel.”

Chris: It’s not about us, they’re not here to see us, we’re a bonus but it’s about people coming together, talking about things that they love. […] The fact that we can come along and be a part of that, is awesome.
