Jim Dale one-man show makes stops in Delaware, New York City

Jim Dale, the narrator for the American versions of the Harry Potter audiobooks, has created a one-man show, entitled Just Jim Dale, that he will perform in limited engagements in Delaware and New York.

The show, which Dale has said he can’t reveal much about for fear of giving it away, had a special one-night-only run at the Delaware Theatre Company on Tuesday, April 8 and will also run from May 15 to August 10 at the Roundabout Theatre in New York.

Dale has said of his exhausting rehearsal schedule,

At a normal rehearsal, you can have the next scene off because you’re not in it, so you can put up your feet and rest. But when you’re doing a one-man show, you’re on stage for all the hours you’re scheduled at rehearsal.

Little else is known about his show at this time, but it’s sure to be a spectacular evening if the talent of Jim Dale is involved! Would you pay to see Just Jim Dale?

Proud Gryffindor; don't hate.
