Release date, cover, and plot overview revealed for Robert Galbraith’s “Career of Evil”!

A little over a month ago we learned that Robert Galbraith’s third Cormoran Stirke novel will be called Career of Evil, and now we’ve got an exact release date, a short teaser of the plot, and the first images of the US and UK covers!

While we knew the book would be released in autumn, we now know the exact release date – October 22 in the UK and October 20 in the US. Fans have been eagerly waiting to learn what Career of Evil will have in store for Robin and Cormoran, and now we finally have an idea of what the book will be about! From Robert Galbraith’s website:

When a mysterious package is delivered to Robin Ellacott, she is horrified to discover that it contains a woman’s severed leg. Her boss, private detective Cormoran Strike, is less surprised but no less alarmed. There are four people from his past who he thinks could be responsible – and Strike knows that any one of them is capable of sustained and unspeakable brutality.

With the police focusing on the one suspect Strike is increasingly sure is not the perpetrator, he and Robin take matters into their own hands and delve into the dark and twisted worlds of the other three men. But as more horrendous acts occur, time is running out for the two of them…

Finally, last but not least, we get to see what the US and UK covers will look like! It’s not a far departure from the cover of The Silkworm – the series will look nice as a set on any bookshelf! Check it out:
