UPDATED: Win a Copy of the Deluxe Illustrated Edition of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”

MuggleNet has been bringing you news about the new Harry Potter illustrated edition and its illustrator Jim Kay since we first learned of the release, and today, we have something new and exciting to share with you. Bloomsbury released a newsletter with two very important announcements earlier today.

Firstly, today marks the official release day for the deluxe edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. And secondly, you can win a copy of the new (and undoubtedly even more fabulous) edition for free.

Yes. Free.

The newsletter stated the following about the new release and the contest:

Today, the [d]eluxe [i]llustrated [e]dition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling, illustrated by Jim Kay, [was] released, and to celebrate, we’re offering you the opportunity to win one of these stunning editions. To enter, simply tell us which shop you would like to visit in Jim Kay’s Diagon Alley on Twitter using #HarryPotterDeluxe and tagging @KidsBloomsbury, or email your answer to childrensmarketing@bloomsbury.com with #HarryPotterDeluxe in the subject line. Click here to view the Diagon Alley illustration to help you decide!

There are several ways to enter the contest. If you do wish to enter and throw your conical hat into the ring for a chance at a free copy, you have until November 18 to do so. The competition is open to residents of the UK and RoI only. For more information on terms and conditions, please click here.
