Bid to Win an Exclusive “Cursed Child” Experience

by Callum Lloyd Thomas, Callum Lloyd Thomas · October 14, 2016

An online auction is being held for the Royal Court Theater’s 60th anniversary gala, with “money-can’t-buy” opportunities, including an exclusive Harry Potter and the Cursed Child experience with director John Tiffany and an afternoon with Cursed Child‘s Noma Dumezweni to discuss the acting business.

More information on the exclusive Cursed Child experience:

Bid for this exclusive chance for you and a friend to meet the multi award-winning director behind the current two[-]part smash-hit West End play, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”, enjoying the very best seats in the house for both parts of the show, and an overnight stay in London’s magnificent Mayfair Hotel.  Come along on a performance day and meet John for a drink between the two shows to hear all the inside gossip about this critically acclaimed production, plus a unique signed script to take home.

More information about the afternoon discussion on the acting business with Cursed Child‘s Noma Dumezweni:

Award-winning actor Noma Dumezweni has appeared at the Royal Court in ‘Belong’ by Bola Adjabe (2012), ‘Feast’ (2013) and most recently ‘Linda’ by Penny Skinner (2015), taking on the lead role at the last minute to great critical acclaim. Noma also directed ‘I See You’ (2016) by Mongiwekhaya both here and in South Africa. During a long and illustrious theatre career she won an Oliver award for ‘A Raisin in the Sun’ (2006) at the Young Vic, and she has most recently received rave reviews for her role as Hermione in John Tiffany’s critical and popular smash hit ‘Harry Potter[ and t]he Cursed Child’. Noma now offers one lucky bidder the chance to share her expertise about her acting career; whether that be the nuts and bolts of the acting business in general over a cuppa, or the chance to explore a script with her, Noma will spend an exclusive afternoon with you, imparting her knowledge and wisdom about all things acting.

To bid for either of these two exclusive experiences, head over to the auction website here. Alternatively, tickets for the anniversary gala event start from £100 and can be purchased on the Royal Court website.
