“Bite Me” Hosts Vampire Ball in NYC to Celebrate End of Screening Tour

by Hannah Howard · July 24, 2019

It’s almost time for the end of the Bite Me tour! For those who haven’t heard, Bite Me is a film starring Christian Coulson (Tom Riddle, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) and Naomi McDougall Jones (Imagine I’m Beautiful). The film is about an IRS auditor (Coulson) who finds himself auditing a vampire (Jones).

To celebrate the end of the Joyful Vampire Tour, Naomi McDougall Jones and company are hosting the Joyful Vampire Ball in New York City. Fans are invited to attend on the evening of August 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

At 7:30 p.m., there will be a panel featuring the Bite Me team – Naomi McDougall Jones (writer/producer/star), Sarah Wharton (producer), Jack Lechner (executive producer), Joanne Zippel (executive producer), and Kiwi Callahan (creator of the Joyful Vampire Tour of America docuseries). They will be discussing the entire tour – from film distribution to the numbers.

After the panel, the Joyful Vampire Ball will begin! Guests are invited to dress up in “whatever makes you feel joyful!”

Here is the invitation for fans from the Bite Me team:

If you’ve been following the journey; watching the web series; have watched the movie; love to dress up; want to talk to the cast or filmmaking team about the film or the tour or the future of independent film distribution or anything in between; if you want to celebrate this film, this team, this tour, or independent film in general, come out and raise a glass with us!

The cost of admission is $10 and includes a limited-edition Bite Me enamel pin. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
