“SpeakBeasty” Episode 144: “Niffler Tip Jar”
On this episode of SpeakBeasty, it’s all about teamwork as our friends from MuggleCast join us for a discussion about the characters we see working together in the Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore trailer. Join hosts Amy, Lizzie, Eric, and Micah as they talk more about the characters we see pairing off in the trailer, a Niffler’s dream job, and Eric’s undying love for Diricawls.
Some of the character pairings we see in the trailer include the Scamander brothers, Albus Dumbledore and Jacob Kowalski, and Eulalie Hicks and Theseus Scamander. The pairing of Eulalie and Theseus makes sense, because, as Lizzie puts it, “Badass wizards get it done,” but what about Albus and Jacob? Did anyone see that coming? Micah is going to get angry if the Hogwarts professor and the Muggle don’t go sightseeing in New York City together.
While we see many characters working together in the trailer, there are also some who are noticeably separated from the core group. It looks like Bunty goes off on her own with a suitcase identical to Newt’s, and Yusuf Kama is also seen alone and with Gellert Grindelwald.
