“Harry Potter” Characters Review the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

by Mikaela Renshaw · January 31, 2018

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a pretty fun place to visit, even as a Muggle. But for the actual characters of Harry Potter, there are mixed feelings.

1. Harry Potter

It’s pretty cool. They did a great job making it look like Hogsmeade. It was kind of strange, though, because it felt like I was there, but then I’d go into a shop and it wouldn’t be quite the same. Or I’d look up and see snow on the rooftops, even when it was hot and sunny. I really enjoyed the hippogriff ride, though. It reminded me of my first flight on Buckbeak. And this way, nobody’s in danger of getting mauled for saying something stupid.

2. Hermione Granger

Oh, it was all just so fascinating! I’m really impressed with the advancements in Muggle technology. The effects used on the Forbidden Journey ride, in particular, were incredible, although, it was slightly disconcerting to see myself. Still, it was brilliantly done. I’d love to know the techniques behind it. I’m actually planning to pick up a book or two on the subject for some light reading.

3. Ron Weasley

I have to say, I had no idea Muggles could do that sort of thing. How’d they even learn what Hogsmeade looks like anyway? But yeah, it was all right. I like their version of Honeydukes a lot. They even made cockroach clusters taste good. But about that Forbidden Journey ride, did they really have to add in all those spiders? They got right in your face! I nearly Apparated straight out of there.

4. Albus Dumbledore

Ah, yes, Muggles are so creative. I found their small copy of our world to be quite fun. It was so wonderful to watch all those people, young and old, discover the joys of magic. I remember seeing one young girl in particular who was having trouble performing a trick with one of those special wands they sell, but once she managed it, her face just lit up. I do love seeing that sense of wonder. Also, I managed to find several excellent pairs of socks.

5. Severus Snape

I do not understand why I have been forced to review this ridiculous establishment. It is clearly an inferior copy meant only to entertain ignorant dunderheads. Furthermore, I was repeatedly stopped in the street by giggling girls who insisted on taking pictures with me. Overall, it was not an experience I would care to repeat.
