Scholastic has announced that just in the past 24 hours, a record-breaking 6.9 million copies of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince were sold. Thanks to Bloomberg, we know that Borders sold 850,000, Amazon sold 1.5 million, and Barnes & Noble distributed over 1 million copies.
