BROOMS UP! Muggle Quidditch 2012 Summer Games Final match – USA vs. UK today

Yesterday, the 2012 Summer Games tournament was held at Cutteslowe Park in Oxford, UK with five national teams competing for the championship. USA, UK, France, Australia, and Canada were all playing the game of Quidditch at a fast and furious pace.

The USA team rolled through the tournament and eventually took the championship, as it defeated France in the final match 160-00. France made it to the final match by defeating Canada in the Semi-Finals.

Therefore, today, host team UK will play against the powerful USA squad in front of thousands of fans attending the South Park Olympic Torch Festival. The match is scheduled to begin right now at 3:30 p.m. BST, just prior to the Olympic Torch arriving.
