“Bling Ring” director discusses Emma Watson’s latest film role

At a recent screening of one of her films, Sofia Coppola talked with Examiner about her upcoming project, The Bling Ring, and made a special mention of Potter starlet, Emma Watson.

Speaking about Emma’s performance in the film, Coppola commented that it was “really fun to see [Watson] so different. I was always surprised on set when she transformed into this other character. So I think it will be really fun for audiences to see her.”

She also talked about what drew her to the film, believing it to be “an interesting story…so telling about our culture now.” You can read the full interview over on their website.
