“Harry Potter” receives AFI Special Award, Chris Columbus accepts
As we mentioned last month, the Harry Potter film series was voted by the American Film Institute (AFI) to receive an AFI Special Award.
Yesterday, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles, California, Chris Columbus – who directed the first two Harry Potter films and was instrumental in the casting of the actors – was on hand to accept the award for the franchise.
