Happy 23rd Birthday to ‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe was thrust into instant stardom when he was cast as the title character of the Harry Potter film franchise, a franchise that has gone on to become the most successful franchise in box office history. Today, the star of the film series turns 23 years old.

We have and will continue to see Dan rise and challenge himself in a large variety of roles both in films and on-stage productions. With incredible acting talent and a tremendous personality, the sky is the limit for the long time Harry Potter star.

Some of Dan’s personal winning accomplishments to date include: Male Youth Discovery of the Year in 2001 for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone; Best Male Performance in 2007 for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix; Favorite Leading Actor in a Broadway Play and Favorite Breakthrough Performance for his 2009 work in Equus; Favorite Actor in a Broadway Play and Favorite Onstage Pair (shared with John Larroquette) for his Broadway performance of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in 2011; Best Fantasy Actor, Favorite Movie Actor, and Favorite Movie Ensemble (shared with rest of cast) in 2012 for his work in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

We are positive that there will be many more awards and acknowledgements for Dan in the future!

Dan’s upcoming projects include the release of Kill Your Darlings; the TV series A Young Doctor’s Notebook; and as we recently reported, the film Horns.
