Harry Potter film stars Evanna Lynch, James Phelps, and Oliver Phelps are slated to appear at “A Celebration of Harry Potter” – a special event hosted by Universal Orlando Resort and Warner Bros. Entertainment that will celebrate all of Harry’s adventures, from the beloved books to the feature films.
As more and more pictures of construction on the Diagon Alley expansion have been appearing on the Internet, fans have been anxiously awaiting an announcement of the park’s official opening date. While Universal Orlando is keeping that secret a little while longer, they’ve given us a fun clue about what we can expect in the near future.
In a public news release made today at Universal Orlando by Stuart Craig, the production designer for the Harry Potter films, new details were released involving the Hogwarts Express and the Leaky Cauldron restaurant.
There’s been a lot of theme park updates recently as construction on Universal Studios Orlando’s Diagon Alley expansion barrels forward, and as the scaffolding comes off, it seems that more than a few surprises are in store for Harry Potter fans.
While we are waiting for some news to come from Universal Orlando today we thought we would share some new images coming out of the theme park this morning thanks to @OrlandoInformer.
Today, a new image has appeared on the Orlando Attractions Magazine Facebook page of the London side of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley. The scaffolding is beginning to come down from the building faces, and it appears that part of this London expansion could be the home of the Black family, 12 Grimmauld Place!
