WWoHP to hold special Diagon Alley expansion webcast on January 23!

As more and more pictures of construction on the Diagon Alley expansion have been appearing on the Internet, fans have been anxiously awaiting an announcement of the park’s official opening date. While Universal Orlando is keeping that secret a little while longer, they’ve given us a fun clue about what we can expect in the near future.

As reported on Inside the Magic, select members of the press received a very impressive Gringotts vault key and a special letter. Be sure to check out the original article for more images of this beautiful key.

The letter instructed its recipients to visit Gringottsvaultkey.com and enter the code accompanying their key in order to learn new details about the Diagon Alley expansion. After entering the code, you can view a video, embedded above, in which James Phelps announces that a webcast will be held January 23, 2014, to reveal more information about the expansion!

If you are not a member of the press, you can register to watch the webcast here. As some of you may have noticed, the webcast will come just a day before Universal kicks off its “Celebration of Harry Potter.” This may just be a coincidence, but it could also mean that the events are linked.
