Become immersed in the world of Harry Potter like never before! For the first time ever, you can create a witch or wizard character in your likeness that will become part of the gameplay through Kinect’s scanning technology. Hogwarts needs your help! Are you up for the challenge?

Harry Potter for Kinect is a video game developed by Eurocom and published by Warner Bros. Interactive. It was released on October 9, 2012. It is only for the Xbox 360 system and requires the Kinect accessory.

The game includes content based on all eight films in the Harry Potter series. The Kinect accessory allows players to use spells via physical gestures and call spell names out loud. Players scan their faces to create a unique witch or wizard to navigate through the game. Events include getting a wand at Ollivanders, being Sorted at Hogwarts, and battling Lord Voldemort. Players can cast spells, brew potions, and duel others, in class and outside of school, to unlock even more lessons and challenges. Players can also challenge a friend in competitive mini-games or join forces against a mutual opponent in local co-op games.
