An article was recently written for The Gazette, a Canadian student newspaper, discussing the impact of a Harry Potter course offered at the Western University. The decision made by Western’s Department of English and Writing Studies (DEWS) was of course met by enthusiasm from the students.

Terry Greenwall, a portrait artist living in Chichester has painted a series of oil paint portraits of several of the Harry Potter characters. During the week, these paintings will be on display at the Chichester Library on Tower Street.
We recently reported that several Harry Potter stars donated doodles to an eBay auction to benefit the charity Epilepsy Action. The auction ended a couple of days ago, and Harry Potter stars alone raised $1,452.92 (937.97 GBP).
